8 years ago, I started my first business with more ambition than resources. Hiring U.S. talent was too expensive, and every time I tried to grow, payroll became the barrier. Out of necessity, I turned to remote talent and everything changed. With the right VAs, I scaled faster than I ever imagined, built a 25-person remote team as a 21-year-old and became a top 50 RE/MAX agent in the country.

The turning point came in 2019 when a remote hire outperformed a U.S. hire at a fraction of the cost. That was the moment I realized something fundamental: founders don’t fail because they lack potential, they fail because they lack leverage.
